As part of a launch for her new memoir, the comedian will be tackling the complicated world of social media, millennial issues and modern life, with a generous serving of humour.
Tickets for the show include a copy of the new book, so it’s a great value night out if you’re looking for something fun to discover while you’re in London.
Dark Circus Party – 2 November
If you’re still hankering for some Halloween themed fun, or just fancy a unique night out in Shoreditch, the one of a kind, Dark Circus Party is bound to serve up the best of the neighbourhood.
Designed by the innovative events company, Bourne and Hollingsworth, the one-off event takes place inside an abandoned, haunted circus, featuring a variety of strange and spooky forms of entertainment. Inside the deserted big top, you can expect caged curiosities, fire breathers, sideshow oddities and more, along with a delicious menu of creative cocktails and snacks.
The event has a strict dress code, so embrace your circus persona, to reveal your inner Trapeze Queen or Lion Tamer self. The actual location will be kept secret until the time, to retain the air of mystery and magic, ensuring you have a truly memorable night out.
EFG London Jazz Festival 15 – 24 November
The London Jazz Festival is one of the UK’s most eclectic and highly anticipated musical festivals, featuring an amazing line up of international artists, up and coming stars and serious heavyweights. It’s not just for jazz buffs only – the festival features a great variety of music and artistic styles, from spoken word to world music and much more.
You’ll find festival events taking place across London, including the Southbank Centre and a number of partner venues. But for lucky guests staying at the M by Montcalm London Shoreditch Tech City, head to nearby venue, Rich Mix, where you’ll find a number of festival shows being held across the week, including Egyptian stars, the Egyptian Jazz Projekt.
Dancing In The Dark Night – Selected Saturdays
If you’re planning some London weekend breaks in November, keep your Saturday nights free to hit the dance floor at the Moth Club in Shoreditch. This Hackney institution is the perfect place to enjoy a great night out – with its famous glittering ceiling, sparkling curtains and charming ambience.
For a few weekends this month, the legendary club will be putting on a great 80s themed event, featuring plenty of your favourites. The Moth Club gets busy, so make sure you check dates and book ahead in advance.
Ana Pallares: Eternal Life Exhibition – Until 24th November
Shoreditch has always been a thriving area for the city’s art scene, and despite its gentrification in recent years, the many independent galleries and boutique spaces keep the flag flying, for innovative art.

This November, the stylish Hundred Years Gallery will be holding a thought-provoking and moving exhibition from contemporary artist Ana Pallares. Focused on the recent death of her grandmother, the exhibition is both a tribute and a gift, with a moving reflection on life from the artist.

Immersive Wolf of Wall Street Experience – Selected dates through November
If you loved the film and found yourself day-dreaming about what such a hedonistic lifestyle might be like, this unique event is the best way to find out for yourself. A cross between an immersive theatre show and an escape room, the experience puts you right in the heart of the action, either on the side of the corrupt bankers, or the FBI agents on their case.
Be prepared to get fully into character – there’ll be no room for watching the action from the sidelines here. But it can definitely be a fun and exciting way to enjoy theatre, as you might never have done so before.
Into Film Festival: Abominable Screening – 22 November
The Into Film Festival is an annual, nationwide celebration of all things cinematic, and is especially targeting towards young people interested in finding out more about the world of film. The festival sees a variety of events taking place all over the city, with special screenings and Q&As, giving viewers the chance to find out more about life behind the scenes.
This festival season, Into Film, will be showing a special screening of the latest DreamWorks animation, Abominable. Taking place at Rich Mix, you’ll need to book ahead to get in.
