Underbelly Festival in South Bank

This festival runs throughout the summer, and combines live acts with theatre, cabaret and comedy direct from the hugely desirable venue on the south bank of the Thames. Barclaycard BST in Hyde Park

Every year, the British Summertime Festival manages to secure some of the biggest names in the music world for this event in Hyde Park, and 2018 is certainly proving to be no exception. Amongst the musical talent secured so far are legends such as The Cure, Roger Waters, The Eagles, Paul Simon and Michael Buble, offering something for every possible taste. Music fans will have plenty to enjoy and there’s a selection of VIP packages to choose from for those who prefer making their music festival trip more of a deluxe affair than usual! This fantastic event is billed as the world’s greatest classical music festival, and it has certainly gained worldwide attention. Southport Weekender Festival

Despite only debuting in 2017, The Southport Weekender already has its sights set on becoming a real London institution, drawing huge crowds from all over the city and further afield, eager to enjoy one of the most infamous celebrations the capital has hosted in a long time. This year’s full line-up has yet to be fully revealed, but if last year is any indication there will be a vibrant mixture of talent on display and a fantastic atmosphere sure to impress any music fan – and also anyone simply seeking a great night out. The emphasis is heavily on dance and electronica, with a little house, soul, R&B and garage thrown in for good measure. There’s also world-class DJs on site to help add to the good vibes, and guests can expect the drinks to be freely flowing at what’s been dubbed ‘the world’s friendliest party’.
