London is a city well known for its love of music, ranging from classical artists right through to popular music and the latest in EDM and dance. The next few weeks see some of the world’s finest DJs arrive in London – here’s our guide to the best gigs you won’t want to miss!

Gareth Emery

Ministry of Sound / 1st March 2019

A British electro-house DJ and record producer, Emery regularly ranks amongst the Top 10 DJs in the world. Sometimes recording under aliases including Runaway, Cupa and GTR, Emery’s sound is distinctive. He has worked with artists like Above and Beyond to help them create their unique soundscapes. Whilst not playing at event venues in Shoreditch, the Ministry of Sound venue is still nearby and accessible to visitors to the MByMontcalm.


Phonox, Brixton / 1st – 29th March 2019

A British DJ, producer and record-label owner, Midland (real name Harry Agius) has worked with some of the top artists around the globe as they refine their sound, as well as releasing his own EPs and collaborations. Playing a series of gigs at Phonox throughout March, getting there will be a straightforward task for guests at our hotels near Moorgate Tube station.


Electric / 15th March 2019

A French/Italian DJ on the rise, Vitalic (real name Pascal Arbez) is known for his dramatic electronica. This DJ set for one night only is sure to provide a great evening of music for guests staying at hotels near Moorgate Tube station.

Paul van Dyk

One of the world’s most recognisable DJs, Paul van Dyk has been nominated for Grammys and voted the best DJ on earth twice in a row. First rising to prominence during the early 2000s, he has continued to work with new artists in the decades that followed, as well as creating his own tracks. This gig represents a chance to see van Dyk live on one of his few European gig dates announced so far this year.

DJ Harvey is a Cambridge-born DJ and house/garage artist who first got started as a punk drummer, but has since crafted an enviable career delighting audiences around the globe. An opportunity to see a music artist in his prime at one of the city’s most prominent dance-centric venues, this gig is sure to help you let loose during your stay in London.

Armin Van Buuren

Wembley SSE Arena / 18th April 2019

A Dutch trance DJ-ing legend, van Buuren is also a music producer with a rich pedigree, having produced hits for over two decades. Working with artists like Deadmau5, Markus Schulz and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, this is a great chance to see the DJ perform live in London at one of the city’s most prominent venues, the Wembley SSE Arena.
